The Metzger Law Group occupies the eighth floor of the "401" building in downtown Long Beach. The firm has 3 conference rooms, 30 offices, 4 libraries, 4 large file rooms, a refreshment room, and support facilities.
The large conference room, with a panoramic view of Long Beach Harbor, seats approximately 36. Depositions are often videotaped in this room, which also has video conference technology and projection equipment for meetings and presentations. The room is also used for firm events, meetings of charitable organizations, and other multi-party functions. With a birds-eye view of the hair-pin turn of the Long Beach Grand Prix racetrack, the firm has, in the past, hosted Grand Prix parties for clients, employees, colleagues, and friends.
The firm’s libraries are extensive. The law library contains several thousand law books and a computer with on-line access to statutes and cases nationwide. The firm’s medical and toxicology library comprises several hundred books on medicine, toxicology, epidemiology, and public health. The firm also maintains a library of some 40,000 medical and toxicology articles.
